National Mining Museum
Rumelange
The museum has a comprehensive collection of locomotives, machines, tools and other objects in relation to mining history from the 1860s to the 1990s. A big part of this collection is on exhibit in the underground mine.

Tour "Hutbierg"

On a 3 km walk along the "Hutbierg", visitors are shown and explained some of the remains of iron ore mining and the changes in the beautiful landscape.

Tour "3000 years of Mining Ligthing"
Start time : 14h30

The mine train will take you to the Walert mine where our historian will present demonstrations of different lamps used by generations of miners, from antiquity to the present day.

Tour „Lost Places“
Start time: 15h30

On a circuit of about 2.5 km inside the mine, a specializedmuseum guide will show visitors part of the underground industrial remains of the Walert and Langengrund mines, where original rooms and furnishings from the 1960s can still be seen today.
