The Museum "A Possen" focuses on how the residents of the Moselle region lived and worked in the 19th and 20th centuries, with an emphasis on traditions and customs, most notably winegrowing and craftmanship. Visitors can discover the richness of this tangible and intangible heritage either individually or on a guided tour.

Have you always wanted to try your hand at calligraphy? Don't miss our intergenerational workshop during the Luxembourg Museum Days 2024 in partnership with ICOM Luxembourg! Immerse yourself in the art of calligraphy and let yourself be captivated by the beauty of words written by hand, with pen and ink. Each stroke becomes a real work of art! Accompanied by our mediator, young and old (children must be accompanied by an adult) can each write or decorate a card to give as a gift or to be given as a gift. Join us for an afternoon of creativity, learning and exchange.

On Sunday 19 May, the Museum "A Possen" invites its visitors to a unique and exceptional guided tour. Under the guidance of our museum guide, discover the links between archival research and the history of everyday life in the 19th century, decipher manuscripts, discover examples from old archives and make a practical connection with the museum's objects to learn and discover the work of the historian in a convivial and dynamic atmosphere. This visit will be an immersion in the magic of historical research for all.
